The objection contains more evidence of how Celtique ignore or mis-represent facts that do not suit Celtique's view.
Here is an extract from The Woodland Trust's objection letter:
'The ecology section of the ES wrongly states that “ancient woodland is a rare habitat and is of county (medium) importance”. Ancient woodland is an irreplaceable habitat and therefore any loss or deterioration should be considered to be of national importance. Furthermore, the ES states that “blocks of ancient woodland were recorded within 1km of the site” which whilst technically correct it does not make it clear that in places the ancient woodland is less than 15m from the extraction site and therefore at risk of being impacted by the proposed activity.'
